[The Phancyhive manor is one of the most highly energized places in the port and as such, Kyubey is drawn there for the variety of interesting souls who live within the house. One in particular was extremely emotional, always on the swings of anger and discontent. It made Kyubey's paws tingle as he moved through the corridors of the house, unseen, unheard and undetected.
Elliot Nightray. That was the boy's name. Relative but not blood relation of the man he'd encountered the first night - Gilbert Nightray. If all went well, perhaps he wouldn't end up full of bullet holes like the last time.
Sitting on the boy's bed, Kyubey had made himself comfortable on one of the pillows, white puffy tail wrapped around him as he waited for Elliot to come to bed. He wouldn't be much longer. Kyubey knew that for a fact.]
[Well.. Today wasn't as nerve wracking as the last few nights. Thankfully. He's had a headache for the longest time and it was just beginning to go away. Making it up to his bedroom after dinner, he certainly took his time in the process.
No need to rush, right? But if only Elliot knew what was in store for him in his bedroom. Walking down the halls, he arrived at his door before making an entry.
Of course, he didn't notice the invasion upon his pillow at first. He wanted to relax, to take his time getting ready for bed. But before he even had the chance to reach for his night clothes, something caught his attention from the corner of his eye.
And there it was.. This.. cat.. looking thing? What the hell?! Was he shocked? Yes. But there were weirder things that happened here in Siren's Port.]
[It's late in the afternoon when Ciel comes to find Elliot in the music room. The boy seems to be playing a piece from Bach, the first Movement of Concerto No. 1 in D Minor. It causes him to pause, to hover near the entrance of the room for a moment before moving silently to take a seat and simply listen.
He has things to speak about, but they're not pressing enough to interrupt him.]
[It was rare someone would actually interrupt Elliot while he played during the late afternoon (unless that someone was a snake). It was his time of the day to unwind and relax. One could say music was an outlet for him.
After all, once he begins playing the piano.. He felt lost in his own world and the worries he has are simply left behind.
Apart from that, once the long piece ended, Elliot flipped through a few more pages of music. Should he take a break? Sure, he had a stern expression on his face but he was truly at peace. If someone were to interrupt him, now would be the time.]
[What's the best way to interrupt someone after they've played a piece? By clapping of course. It's a quiet, polite clap, as Ciel sits back in the chair, one leg crossed over the other. There's a small smile on his lips as he does so.]
You really are rather talented at the piano, aren't you?
[Elliot was a bit off guard when he heard the clapping, glancing up to catch sight of Ciel. He took a moment to respond, giving a small raise of the shoulders at the question..
He didn't really know how to respond to such comments, but it was better than nothing.]
I know he can get...extremely aggravating at times but I really rather if he does do so that he not be hit. There's enough abuse that goes on in the world; we don't need to be adding to it.
[A pause, before he sighs himself.]
Although I really can't blame you for it. Sometimes I'd like to smack him upside the head myself.
